Unless you are a camera
snob, or only feel happy spending more than necessary, this Canon truly does everything well enough and the telephoto is incredible for bird photography. Everything works perfectly and I cannot think of anything to complain about. Even the digital zoom can be used if absolutely necessary, but over 35X (optical) you lose a lot and focusing becomes very difficult. The RCA connector allows you to play video or slideshow directly onto any TV with spectacular quality.
